Why is quality assurance important?

Professional quality assurance ensures that components and assemblies meet the defined requirements. Defects are detected early, complaints are reduced, and process reliability is increased.

What tests are conducted?

Depending on the requirements, we perform dimensional inspections, geometric inspections, visual inspections, incoming goods inspections, as well as random and serial inspections.

Are test reports prepared?

Yes. Upon request, we prepare detailed test reports and documentation to ensure that all test results are traceable and transparent.

Where are the exams held?

Quality control is carried out at our in-house quality center in Herisau. There, experienced and trained employees inspect and approve the components before they are shipped.

Can I also place an order with part.solutions from within the EU?

Yes. Companies from Germany, Austria, and throughout the EU can easily place orders with part.solutions. Upon request, we invoice in euros (EUR) and deliver directly to your location—for example, DAP (Delivered At Place) in accordance with Incoterms.

Thanks to our experience in the international procurement of drawing parts, CNC-turned parts, milled parts, sheet metal parts, and assemblies, you benefit from a simple, transparent, and secure ordering process—regardless of where your company is located in Europe.

In short: EU customers ordering from part.solutions enjoy the same high standards of quality and service as customers in Switzerland.

Does the delivery of the components include customs clearance and shipping fees?

Yes. Unless otherwise specified in the quote, our prices include all costs, including delivery to the end customer in Switzerland. There are no additional costs for our customers. For customer deliveries within the EU, we can also handle customs clearance upon request and deliver, for example, DAP (Delivered At Place) directly to your location.

This allows you to benefit from transparent procurement, clear costs, and minimal administrative effort.

In short: You’ll receive the components on time at the desired delivery address—including logistics handling in accordance with the agreed-upon delivery terms.

Where and how is the quality of the components tested?

Quality is our top priority at part.solutions. Depending on the component and requirements, each customer order undergoes inspection both at our qualified suppliers’ facilities and through additional incoming goods and quality control checks at our own quality center in Herisau.

This means every order undergoes a double quality control process. We rely on modern tactile and optical measuring machines to reliably ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

Our inspection processes are ISO 9001-certified and guarantee traceable and documented quality assurance throughout the entire supply chain. Upon request, we provide inspection reports, material certificates, or initial sample inspections.

In short: Our in-house measurement center, state-of-the-art measurement technology, and ISO 9001-certified processes ensure the highest quality standards for your components.

What if I have a complaint?

Thanks to our rigorous quality control, complaints are rare. Through our in-house measurement center, equipped with state-of-the-art tactile and optical measuring machines, as well as our ISO 9001-certified quality management system, we ensure consistently high component quality.

Should a complaint nevertheless arise, we are your direct point of contact. We handle complaints quickly and transparently and manage all coordination throughout the supply chain.

In short: Thanks to our in-house quality control, you benefit from a very low complaint rate—and if the need arises, we handle the entire process. For you, this means dealing with just one point of contact at all times.
